Flying aint fun animore

It was the 18th and I was soo sad to leave Malaysia. After those 3 months I never knew I would enjoy Malaysia. Well its more of the freedom that my parents gave me other than anything else.

Well Air NZ was always a crappy airline i must agree, not only are the air hostesses not friendly but the seats are so cramp and there are no mini tvs in front of you! this is when I really respect Singapore airlines!

Well I had in total pluss all my hand carry: 65kgs. and I managed to carry everything into NZ without paying excess! haha amazing rite??
So I was pretty happy about that.

At Auckland Airport though i claimed that i didnt pack my bags by myself on the customs form and this got me into a little mess. the customs checked every inch of my bags. Looking for any illegal items etc. food etc...
man that was embarrasing.
Moreover when i had to transfer to the domestic flight they wanted to charge me excess but i got my way thru and I was soo lucky for the malaysian airlines side to transfer my hand carry luggage all the way to christchurch so the Auckland side couldnt do anything about it and i got away scott free!

By the time I arrived to Christchurch I was dead tired and thankfully i didnt have to wait for anyone hehe .... transport to dunny was there on time :P Thanks.

Well the plane was soo uncomfy plus i was sitting next to this dude who was taking up all the space he could get.

Thank God I am back to land and safe and sound.

Me, meli, emu and heather then had coffee at starbucks and then drove down to dunny after that. That night I was dead tired. didnt sleep very well because of Jet lag, didnt eat very much either :( *sigh* I hate long flights!

On da way down me and the co driver or vice versa caught up on things and still I got irritated again. always give in. haih.... wat to do...

Another celebration???

And it was the 14th... receive lots of messages about being finally legal to club in nz haha.... not that i do so very often but hmmm i wonder y my friends from nz said that..

Well to say the least i think my 18th bday has been the best so far... on the 14th we went for dinner at Chilli's in 1 U and we got 2 tables for 10 ppl which was amazing. reason partly because joey and his gf waited there for 1 hour trying to get a table. We all had a great dinner, socialized and had fun for 2 hours. They even had the waiters to sing and give me a cake... ooooo fattening...

kinda tired now so cant really think of words to write... I was quite happy that most of my close friends came except for EILEEN! u *b****' juz kiddin lah gal. u know i love u .... After all that photo taking etc, 6 of us headed over to watch Constantine.. cool movie...

After the movie the 4 of us went to Hartamas to play pool and foose.. was soo tired by then.... the next day i had to wake up at 7 am to fetch my friend over to her college which was in sunway near subang and boy it was jam.! Altogether I stayed in the Traffic for altogether 2 hours! first time joining the morning crowd.. now i really understand y its better to use train! straight after that i went home and my mothers friend, wanted to take me out for breakfast and boy she made me eat! hehe that was heaps of rice and bakuteh!

Thats all for now but I will elaborate more on this later.! really tired now.. gotta pack!

CNY and bday aftermath

Oh nooo..... All my presents are in a box kept to take overseas.... well most of them hehe.... after all that I lost my new thumb drive that i bought for a friend! 256mb and it was taken by aliens..... Sad lah I called everyone and no one knows where it is.. it just dissapeared off the face of my house... :( well then I wish to forget about it and whatever happened to it I forgive whoever or watever took it... Revenge belongs to the Lord.. haha now I am speaking like my mom...

Well moving furthur... CNY was a really quiet one for me.... Usually I receive my parents angpau in da morning on da first day but then i received it on da 2nd day instead. Because instead of collecting them when they were ready I went over to visit Joeys new place.. Whoa its flash... really nice designing.. Congratulations to his mom.... When I got there i got nice cake too :) hehe nice start to Cny. and of course got my first angpau and watched Dodge ball.. damm that movie is sick..... hehe I am no longer a deciple of the 'sick one'.. I rather remain as Sarah How.. and no I dont know who that is...

We later on played foose and pool at hartamas coz there was nothing else to do... We rushed to 1 U hoping to see a movie at 9pm: Constantine but dammit it was sold out! IMAGINE THAT! IT WAS SOLD OUT FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT... WELL at least I learnt something new. I was told that its tradition for chinese teens to watch a movie on CNY night.. well nope i dont practice that but at least I know hehe.....

Today (2nd day of cny) we went to Muar to see granny... If not i would b home and going to visit sue's house and meet up with joey at night... But oh well at least I enjoyed meeting the old folks for a change... At least I managed to see granny before I left to NZ. Thankfully she received all my cards and letters that have been keeping her company.. Besides granny that was there, there was my dads sister and her husband and his mother.. I managed to meet another uncle and another few cousins (3rd cousins are they called) well better to classify everyone as relatives! hehe i prefer it that way...
Ate an aweful lot of oranges for lunch and had a little gastric problem, too acidic! Ate loads at dinner and after that a tonne of mangosteen and more of otak-otak and alot of drinks.

U can imagine wat i did when I got home ... hehe well then leave u with that thought....

oooo sweaty sweaty had to change to shorts... see the cake?? yeah yearly bday ritual. didnt i tell u it was cramp. most of my friends are in da pic.

Da gathering aka be-earlied bday gathering

early morning for me, having slept at 4am I amazingly I was able to wake up at 8am. You do the math. I went to Bangsar to meet Alex and we went to pick up Sue and go to Sentosa Hospital to visit the lobster...aka... Hsiao Mei. She was having dengue, thankfully it wasnt serious.... She was lying on the bed as expected...
We chatted and did some catching up and then we left at around 12 am when Jianyi and cheuling were just about to arrive..

After all that driving around we sent sue home and alex followed me back home to help me with some chores.

At4.30 I drove to pick up people from the LRT station and we headed to the basketball court to play some basketball.
That was the 6 of us and meanwhile giving directions over the phone is a major headache when they end up somewhere you dont know..... yes ARUNA hehe.... and ranjini and Khabillan..
But it was afterall worth it coz there were alot of us and it was great fun.

We only had dinner at around 9 am and there was a total of 18 of us and we could merely have enuf space to sit and eat! We took loads of photos and video clips, especially of khabillan and his humorous activities he was performing... Trying to be a spoke person interviewing people and asking really funny questions. On top of that We couldnt get over the fact that his singing was extremely hmmm....... in tune hehe ... dear khabi u have guts...... He was singing kareoke and we all were just there listening and laughing.

It was great we all could catch up and relax and chill... SOOO much food around hehe and everyone got what they requested. Lasagne.....

Sad though Joey and Yen Hong couldnt come... Both were cleaning up their house and joey was shifting... well u guys are forgiven hahaha....

This afterall was a big reunion lah of friends... dun think we could do this in the next couple of years. most people would be leaving to go overseas and holidays wont be the same so oh well guess the gatherings would be rather in smaller groups...

Yay I'm 18 well not yet another hmmm few days to come.. Bdays on the 14th feb so those of u who havnt given me anithing, pay up haha no lerr kidding...

But thanks for coming, all of you I appreciate it.

The whole of the last 1 and a half weeks...

Its somewhat been the longest week I have ever had. The longest and the best... What I call a real holiday. Never in my 18 years have I ever had a week in a holiday where I wasnt totally pressured to 'study'. Well in malaysia at least.... Mom wasnt around for 8 days! I am praising the fact that I had the whole time of freedom in Malaysia.. I could do anything I like, go out whenever I want. I tell u heaven! hehe I had a car to drive somemore, all to myself...

Luckily I didnt have any crashes except for a 'police fine'...
I met up with people I havnt met in ages and I played alot of foose and pool too.... Got lost somewhere in klang valley but found my way out at the end... Was able to go home at around 1am.... and the latest parents allowed me out when i was in highschool as i remember was 8pm and with parental supervision was until 12 am (that was rarely the case though)..

Well ok Sarah stop rambling about how happy you are!...

It was this morning at 2am when all this fun had to end.....Mom came back... was actually happy too because I was eating awefully alot of outside food for almost every meal and on top of that I spent almost more than Rm 400 during that week... and of course i did miss mom hehe was waiting for wat she bought back for me from Indonesia too....Now I have to stay home in my room 'studying'.. those of u who knoe me should know what I mean by the apostrophies... haha...

Lets see what else.... I got emails from my 'mom', a close friend in nz.... tat was another joy! hehe.... Other than that hmmm I watched 2 movies at the cinema and alot of other dvds!

Now the next thing up before i leave is shopping... shopping and more shopping! oh and of course my birthday gathering this saturday... time for lotsa picture taking haha and fun.....
